It is officially summer now, and you can enjoy all the things that the season brings, like TTA's Summerfest - a Family Fun Day! Come to Markham Museum Grounds on Sunday, August 6th, and from 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. you will have an "irie" (excellent) day.
There will be games for all ages, a live bandstand, entertainment, and don't forget the food that will be on sale - BBQ jerk chicken, fried fish, hot dogs, chicken roti, ice cream, jerk pork....! A special treat - the kids can meet the Miikshi puppets and the creators of the Miikshi show, Justin and Lindsay Lee. Also, come and cheer on the contestants for the TTA Got Talent Competition!
Admission is $10 and children under 12 years old are admitted free of charge. It will be advance ticket sales only, so please contact the following for more information:
