Support for Canada's Oldest Hakka Temple in Canada

Dear Executive Team of Tsung Tsin Association of Ontario(Jennifer, Susan, Janet, Stephen, Anne Marie, Shirley and Sandra):

My name is Brittany, a volunteer at the Tam Kung Temple in Victoria, Canada – recognized as Canada's oldest Chinese/Hakka temple. I'm reaching out as a fellow member of the Hakka community regarding an exciting opportunity.

Our historic temple is currently participating in the Next Great Save Competition, with a chance to win $50,000 toward much-needed preservation efforts. We're currently in second place, and with support from Hakka organizations like yours, we could have a real chance of closing the gap.

The Tam Kung Temple represents an irreplaceable piece of Hakka cultural heritage in Canada. If you're interested in learning more about our story, we've created a short video: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=GNfQWNGEopw

Voting is simple and can be done here daily: https://nextgreatsave.nationaltrustcanada.ca/2025

Would your organization consider sharing this opportunity with your members? I'd be happy to provide any additional information about our temple's history and significance to the global Hakka community.

With appreciation,

Brittany

Also, here is a link to beautiful Hakka scenery to liven up a dull Canada day.  (Link sent in by Franklin Lue)
