News from the TTA

Hurricane Melissa Relief Fund

Updated: Nov 27, 2025

Hurricane Melissa dealt a heavy blow to Jamaica and thousands of people have been displaced and in need of help. The Chinese Benevolent Association in Jamaica is working hard to provide care packages of basic necessities, food, and hygiene  products to help those in need. You can follow them on Instagram @cba.jamaica.

We would like to help the CBA expand and continue their hurricane relief work. Please help us support their efforts. Tsung Tsin will accept donations by etransfer to  tsungtsinontario@gmail.com (please indicate Hurricane Relief in message) or drop off funds to the donation box at TTA, if you are in the area. We will forward all proceeds to CBA Jamaica to assist in providing aid to the people of Jamaica.

At this time, we are not able to provide tax receipts. We thank you for your compassion and generosity.

** November 24, 2025 UPDATE **

Thank you so much for your generous donation to the Hurricane Melissa Relief Fund.   We wired US $5,000 to the Chinese Benevolent Society who sent us a thank you note.  The CBA has been taking CARE packages to the areas which have been badly damaged by Hurricane Melissa and everyone has been deeply appreciative of the work they have been doing.

We will continue to receive donations to send to the CBA.
