Your summer movie matinee at Tsung Tsin will be on Tuesday, July 18th at 1 p.m. The movie, Dearest, stars popular Chinese actress, Zhao Wei and has English subtitles. Directed by Peter Chan, the award winning movie is based on a true story.
Screened at the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival, the film is centred around the heartbreaking story of a divorced couple struggling through the ordeal of searching for their kidnapped three-year old son in a remote coastal village in Shenzhen.
Matinee tickets are $6 each, and snacks and beverages are offered. The projectionist is Gladstone Lue Sang and hosts are Rose and Harold Wong.
