Dear Family and Friends,
Happy New Year! Kung hei fat choy! Sin yen kuai lok! Sin kee ken kong!
The last couple of years have taught us how resilient we can be. As an association, we continue to evolve with the changing times and the needs of our members. We have held in person and virtual activities, continuing with our exercise classes, ukulele, mah jong, cycling and karaoke. We were able to provide meals for pick up and collect donations for the people of Fenelon Falls. We held our Annual Walkathon in September. And of course, we hosted our Summerfest, the premiere outdoor event of the year! It was very successful as our members and friends were so excited to enjoy good music, good food and to see friends and family in person!
As we start the new year, let us look forward to the future. Tsung Tsin Association is still here despite not being able to properly fundraise. We still have monthly expenses in excess of $12,000, taxes, condo fees, insurance and maintenance. We do plan to host events as soon as we can, but in the meantime, we rely on membership fees and donations (click here to DOWNLOAD the 2023 Membership & Donation Form).
We have already begun planning for our AGM, a Fish Fry and Summerfest 2023! Other events are being discussed and we will update you as time goes on. Our first priority is always the safety of our members and guests.
Our association relies on our membership fees, donations and income from activities as its only source of revenue. As we have not been able to have many events, membership fees and donations are more important. At this time, we ask for you to renew your membership and if you can, make a donation to Tsung Tsin. We are anxiously looking forward to hosting you once again, and providing opportunities to connect with each other.
