Tsung Tsin's Hakka Heritage and Culture Day is here once again after a four year absence due to COVID. The event will take place on Sunday, November 12th, from noon - 5 p.m. and we welcome back our cooking demonstrations with free samples, the sale of lopet ban and sao bow and the delicious $7 Hakka lunch,
We will have a demonstration on how to make your own Chinese lantern and show a video on The Ties that Bind, a documentary on the struggle of the Chinese Canadian community to establish an identity and roots in Canada. There will be a karate demonstration by the Canadian Wado Ryu Karate Federation members, and you can learn how to write your Chinese name in calligraphy.
Entrance fee is $5 and children under 12 years old are admitted free of charge.
