Friday Nite at the Movies - November 29, 2019

Your last 'Friday Nite at the Movies' for 2019 will be on November 29th so don't miss it!  An interesting documentary starts at 7 p.m. and a much acclaimed feature film will begin at 8:30 p.m.


The documentary - My Life in China is about a gentleman who endured poverty and starvation in the Cultural Revolution in 1966 and decided to go to America.  He landed in Boston and had some setbacks, and failed the American Dream.  He went back to his home village in Guandong Province to participate in the new Chinese Dream.  There, he had to make a decision of whether to stay or return to the States.  Should he stay, or should he go? What happens when a lowly peasant is forced to masquerade as a tyrannical king?  You will find out at 8:30 p.m. in the feature film - Masquerade, the King of Facade. Political intrigue, betrayal, and forbidden romance play out in this lavish, historical drama set out in the royal palace of Korea's ancient Joseon Dynasty. $6 for movie and dessert Dinner is $6 per plate and is served between 6 p.m. - 7 p.m.  Please make reservations by Wednesday, November 27th.
