Hakka Heritage & Culture Day - Sunday, November 25th

Updated: Nov 17, 2020

Your calendar is going to be a busy one as Christmas is less than 6 weeks away, so make sure you reserve Sunday, November 25th for our Hakka Heritage & Culture Day. We promise you will come away with some new knowledge of our fascinating culture.

You will read about the Ghost Villages, a guide to Hong Kong's abandoned Hakka Settlements, see a re-enactment of a Wedding Tea Ceremony, learn about the Hakka Art of Bak Mei Quan, the elusive and rarest form of martial art and find out if there is a difference between foot binding and today's style of shoes.

Of course you can't miss out on the cooking demonstrations with free samples, the Hakka $5 lunch, the sale of Jamaican style Sow Bow and Rose's popular Lopet Ban.

Entrance fee is $5 and free admission for children under 12.
