TTA Cycle Club - First Ride for the Season - Sunday, May 18, 2025

If you like to cycle and enjoy the outdoors, TTA's Cycle group is inviting you to join them on the first ride of 2025 on Sunday, May 18th at 1 pm. It will be a scenic ride along the paved (no cars) Lakefront trail with rest stops in between from Pickering east to the Ajax War Memorial Park. The total distance is 20 kilometers - 10k each way.

A scenic cycle ride along the paved motorless Lakefront trail with rest-stops, from Pickering east to Ajax War Memorial Park.

Total easy riding return distance of 20 kilometers.

Newcomers are welcome.

The meeting point will be the parking lot in front of the Bay Ridges Kinsmen Soccer Park Field. Here are the directions coming from Scarborough:

401 East to Whites Road South (right) short distance to Bayly Street and make a left turn on Bayly going East.

Following Bayly Street cross over Liverpool Road, then 2 stop lights make a right turn on Sandy Beach Road.

Go South on Sandy Beach Road and just before you reach the end of the road on your right is a Public Parking Lot In front of Bay Ridges Kinsmen Soccer Park Field.

After the ride we can choose between Timmies or MacDonald's Oasis.

Bring your bike, helmet and accessories, water, drinks and snacks to keep you happy and dress according to weather conditions.

There's a TTA. Fee of $5.00 per person or $10.00 per family and you are asked to sign a Waiver of Liability before starting.
