A reminder to come to Tsung Tsin on Sunday, November 15, 2026 from noon - 5 pm for a day of Hakka Heritage & Culture.  Admission is free, and a variety of delicious Hakka dishes will be on sale for lunch for $12, and you will also be able to buy sow bow and Rose's famous lopet ban.

Get a personalized Chinese name and members of the Chinese Calligraphy Association will write it for you using traditional calligraphy techniques.  Christine McNamee will help you create a Chinese fan and bookmark, and Fanny Poon will do a demonstration on how to make Joong which is glutinous rice with a center of tasty sweet or savoury fillings wrapped in bamboo leaves.

A panel discussion will be held on "Navigating Our Chinese Identity in Multicultural Canada".  How do we keep our cultural identity alive and take pride in our ancestry while being a proud Canadian?

We apologize that Chef Craig Wong of Patois Restaurant is unable to come to do a cooking demonstration as planned due to an unexpected scheduling conflict.
